IN SSB PERSONAL INTERVIEW, THE INTERVIEWING OFFICER JUDGES WHETHER A CANDIDATE HAS THE QUALITY OF..
PERSONAL INTERVIEW : Procedure being followed - The interview of candidate is generally taken after the written test is over. Some candidates are called from the ground when undergoing GTO’s test and other are called in the after noon.
- Enter the room, say – “May I come in, Sir?” (Reply-come in). Stand near the chair and say “Good afternoon/evening, Sir” (reply-take your seat). Say “Thank you, Sir” and occupy the chair. Do not be stiff. Be natural and sit comfortably.
- When the interview is over, get up and give a slight courteous bow and say, “good day, Sir” and leave the room, without disturbing the chair. If he offers his hand, shake it warmly and say “Thank you Good day, Sir”.
- Requirement of qualities –
The Interview depicts candidates’ power of expression, initiative, drive, tact, alertness and self confidence. The IO judges whether a candidate has the quality of critical appreciation, clear / logical exposition, balanced judgment, ability for social cohesion, leadership qualities, moral integrity and social adaptability in particular, besides his OLQ.
- The candidate should exert to bring out his qualities and talent before the IO. The candidate should be straightforward, have the clarity in his response. Whatever the candidate says should match with his traits of personality
- Your optimistic approach and the level of confidence will definitely fetch you a desired result.
